Winter Camp Performance and Closing Ceremony

At the end of each district winter camp, each class/team puts on a performance of some sort. Here are the performances from each class from the 2009 District Winter Camp at Joongdae Elementary School:

Monica and my class did a musical based on Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs featuring “I’m So Hot” by the Wonder Girls, “I Hate You” by 2PM, and “You’ve Got a Friend” from Toy Story.

Class 5 did a cover of the Beatles’ “I Want to Hold Your Hand.”

Class 3 did the dance to the Cha Cha Cha slide song.

Class 1 covered “The Lion Sleeps Tonight” from the Lion King.

And last but not least, Class 2 told everyone why they learned English.

After everyone received their certificates for completing the camp, as well as their blankets, it was time to say good-bye. I had to get a picture with Bo-ra AKA Nothing Nothing Girl, which is what she said to me half the time after yelling, “teacher, teacher!”

The little boy (Jae Hyeong) that was usually in the middle of the dances, throughtout the week hemmed and hawed about how he didn’t like the songs, the dances were dumb, etc. but once he was on stage, he was a complete ham.
