For dinner, I went to Cafe Botanika, a quite new place apparently, and it was worth the walk.
I had vareniki – pierohi stuffed with mashed potatoes served with melted butter, sour cream, and fried onions. There was a mix of traditional Russian and non-Russian items on the menu like sushi and specially prepared duck.
The cafe itself is cute…like my favorite waffle place in samcheongdong. They have blankets for you if you feel a little chilly. The porch had green gauzy fabric for window furnishings. If I lived in Moscow, Cafe Botanika would be my weekly hangout.
